I can hide the Net Meter Window by right clicking the tray icon and choosing "Hide Meter".

However, when I then use the internet, the window automatically comes back on. Is there any way to hide it all the time, or at least until I left click the tray icon.

To avoid this, simply deactivate the option "Minimize when idle".
